Professor Liam Grover is a Reader in Biomaterials Science at the University of Birmingham.

His PhD focussed on the development of cement based hard tissue replacements.

Following his PhD, Professor Grover worked as a post-doctoral research fellow for two years before returning to the UK to take a lectureship in Chemical Engineering at the University of Birmingham. Since arriving at the University of Birmingham, Dr. Grover has established a vibrant research group, which now focuses on the regeneration of the hard/soft tissue interface
